Although they can not verify thru testing, my husband, Dave, had a cardiac embolism stroke a month ago and seeing him is hard. Dave was transferred to rehab with significant right side weakness as well as confusion. It is a little overwhelming watching him struggle but his spirits are high and he has been able to pull himself up on an apparatus (with assistance) and transfer to wheelchair - baby steps. Attached is a picture of him in his "flying machine." He has been able to feed himself the last couple weeks!! He will leave rehab Monday, Oct 9th and go to live with our daughter's family. He will not return to living with me as he is unable to do any activity without the assistance of equipment and two people. He is in great spirits and smiles a lot, cooperating with his therapists, but has too many restrictions for our home. I know I will have the support of the Lord, my family, friends and my neighbors, but it's hard. Please pray for wisdom, strength and peace for all of us.

Dave is at our daughter's home as of yesterday and is smiling non-stop. I have received the peace of the Lord realizing that we needed to be separated for both of us to heal our relationship, our relationship with the Lord and our physical issues. God is good all the time and never takes His eyes off of us. Shalom
Prayers for Dave and your entire family Joyce, prayers for healing and community around Dave in his illness. My deepest prayers are for you. God knows how much you want to be with your husband and the challenges around that right now. You are feeling loss and you are probably overwhelmed from all you have tried to do to keep Dave in your home and to be with him (that is your heart). I send my prayers that God helps you hand it all over to Him. Let Him take your pain, give you peace and continue to work everything for good. You are loved. Believe and trust in that and let the amazing power of the Holy Spirit lift you up like a dove, from the valley, so you can fly over the darkness until strength is restored. Please allow the Lord to write the next chapter, the most beautiful chapter. The story is not complete.
Praying for wisdom, strength, and peace for Dave, you, and your daughter and her family. I will also be praying for complete healing for Dave.
We're so sorry to hear about your situation Joyce. We are praying for you, Dave, and everyone involved
